According to Kwame, he chose her because he felt she was most qualified. Maybe that was a lie, but I don’t think so. Kwame strikes me as an honest person. And if he chose her early with strategy in mind, I’m certain he would have used it to defend himself in the boardroom; as it is the only logical justification. Regardless, the original premise of my post was that once she was on the team, lied to him, and he did not fire her… he was toast.
——-

Yeah, but Kwame chose her in the second round! This was questionable judgement at best, and blatantly stupid at worst. It was even brought up at the final “showdown” and questioned by all in the room.

Actually it made sense to pick her in the second round because it showed an act of good will towards her on his part. In other words, if he just waited until he got stuck with her at the end, then she’ll think she wasn’t wanted and will be that much more pissy, but since he picked her earlier (knowing he was getting her no matter what) it was an attempt to get her on his side and maybe be a little less crappy. Didn’t work obviously.

Kwame had no choice regarding choosing Omarosa because he had last pick. She was going to be his one way or another.

This is because Bill lucked out and got first pick.
