Why do people equate being a realist with preparing for the worst?
What does that say about their expectations, their belief systems, their confidence in the subject of their "realism"?
I believe entrepreneurs should avoid realistic folks like the plague.
Let someone else catch their disease.
Preparing for the worst is NOT the same as being aware of possible outcomes.
On an entirely different note, some uber-cool things will be appearing here after the New Year. (You know this is true because I used "uber" ... not just cool). Stick around, it's about to get interesting.
Seems a local jewelry store decided displaying their wares in the window wasn't good enough. The gold and diamonds and sparkly things are being worn ... in the window ... by live models ... who are causing quite a stir among those who pass by.
"You gotta take a double take. At first, I thought it was a model, a mannequin, and then she starts moving and you say, 'Oh my God, we're likely to spend the next hour standing here. That's beautiful,'" said one of the shocked onlookers.
