Episode #4 covers when the right time to ship version 1.0 of your offer is, the importance of doing what you are best at and a reflective moment. We also celebrate the fact I was able to restrain my Mac-enthusiam for the first 3 episodes. The floodgate is now open.

Michael,
Well, I’m a month late in finding your beta podcast tests. I just haven’t received any emails about them. I came to http://www.entrepreneurslife.com to catch up and see how things were going.
I like your take on things. I enjoy hearing your slant on what’s happening. And we have the same marketing background. So for those reasons, I would enjoy listening your podcasts. I would definitely subscribe via itunes.
I do not know how long one should expect for a daily podcast or email broadcast to garner a critical mass so one would feel that it is worth the time and effort. I wonder how long it took Matthew Furey to get in a daily habit and feel like it was best to continue his “daily” output.
I bet you could do five short commentaries in a row and then set them to be posted over the next five days (M-F). Then over the next week you just think, observe, choose 5 more topics for short opinion sharing. I know that my Word Press software will allow you to easily schedule posts.
Your posts have personality. That’s something that many people screw up by over or under doing it. My vote is for keeping it up. (of course, I’m not the one committing to the daily routine.)
I can shoot you over 10 ideas, topics or current events every week for idea fodder if that would be helpful. Or I could make a list of ten topics with 5 subtopics so you would have 10 weeks worth of ideas. Grab an idea and start recording your opinion.
Would that help bring out your aggressive marketer instincts?
Since no one that you ask would be doing the daily work, everyone will say that you should keep going because it’s no skin off their back.
I wonder what your over all goal would be if you kept it up for 30 days or 3 months or more? Now you’ve got me thinking of the benefits of quick content output. Just like you mentioned in your podcast.
See ya later,
Dan
PS I wrote a 4 page sales letter to one person to persuade them to do a JV with me. Because their heard meshes well with the product that I am rolling out. I was hoping that my copy impressed him enough to persuade him to try out someone new, just like Ron LeGrand did with him 3-4 years ago. How else do you cut through the clutter and make an impact when you are starting out? Any ideas for getting through to people with larger herds would be great to hear by the way. For example, how would I get Ron LeGrand’s attention? I have some ideas but I do not know if they would work well or not make it through the clutter.
Dan Snyder on Thursday, June 14, 2007Michael, I’m with Dan above. I wish I would have known about these sooner! I love the first four. Of all the lame podcasts out there, I’d say your first four are some of the best. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.
Joe Sheldon on Monday, June 18, 2007Im with Dan and Joe above. I was loving these podcasts. I was on vacation and when i got back i was bummed to see no new podcasts in my itunes subscription. Please start these up again! As a young entrepreneur trying to start up a biz I really enjoyed them and they were a great source of daily inspiration.

I own a VERY small business (it’s just me here in a very local market) so many marketing websites and ideas just don’t apply to my type of business. But I listened to your podcasts and was really impressed at how your ideas fit with my petsitting business! Please continue the podcasts, and I’ll be sure to spread the word!
Kristen Burton on Monday, April 28, 2008How about a podcast about marketing locally for a small business?
Thanks,
Kristen
